PVC profile manufacturer

A manufacturer of PVC profiles developed several hundred new formulations every year, each of which had to be tested and evaluated on different extruders. Formulation, process and test data were scattered across Excel files, ERP systems and processing equipment with no shared structure or consistent basis for comparison. After centralising data in LabV, test series could be evaluated consistently for the first time.

The result: faster iterations from laboratory trial to production testing, fewer transcription errors and a reliable data foundation for ongoing compound development.
